According to reports, key Chelsea players want Richarlison to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Blues have reportedly joined Arsenal and Tottenham in the competition to capture the Everton striker valued at £50 million.
The fiery Brazilian is claimed to have won over Chelsea stars with his “aggression and ferocity.”
With two years remaining on his contract, the 25-year-old is rumored to have told manager Frank Lampard that he wants out.
He would be interested in a summer transfer to Chelsea since it would provide him the chance to play in the Champions League.
Additionally, Tottenham, who have a real interest in the attacker, would allow him to compete in Europe’s best league.
Richarlison scored 11 goals for Everton during the previous campaign, helping the Toffees to safety. Romelu Lukaku is expected to return to Inter Milan on a season-long loan deal following a difficult year at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel’s team is looking to add a new attacker this summer.
In the second part of the season, Lukaku was frequently taken out of Tuchel’s lineup because he did not live up to his £98 million price tag.
Raheem Sterling of Manchester City and England, as well as Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona, have also been mentioned in connection with Chelsea.
Sterling expects to decide on his future within the next two weeks, according to a Sportsmail article from earlier this week.
With only one year remaining on his contract, Sterling has a contract offer from City, and Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in signing him.
Dembele, on the other hand, is reportedly unwilling to participate in Chelsea’s squad rotation strategy.
