Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is known for his sharp and swinging bowling. At a young age, he has already established his name as a dominant fast bowler.

Shaheen Afridi is part of Pakistan’s squad for the ongoing three-match Test series against Australia. The first Test played in Rawalpindi ended in a draw. The second Test between the two teams will be played in Karachi from March 12. For which both the teams have started preparations.

During the practice session before the second test match, Shaheen Afridi was seen imitating Indian left arm spinner Jadeja’s bowling action in the nets. As his fast bowling is always accurate so was his impression of Ravindra Jadeja. Afridi’s video is becoming quite viral on social media and Twitterati started to react on it, here are few of the tweets.

Cricket writer Bharat Sundaresan wrote:

There’s a lot of Ravindra Jadeja, just a few inches taller, about Shaheen Shah Afridi bowling left-arm spin, the bounce in the hair included.

A fan wrote:

Maybe Jadeja took the wrong flight from Mohali and landed in Karachi instead of Bengaluru.

Another fan said, Wow. If there is bad light and fast bowlers are not allowed. Maybe Shaheen can be a handy left-arm spinner.

One fan said that Afridi seemed to be Jadeja’s “missing twin”. “Same run up and bowling action.”

Another fan humorously said:

So it means now v can expect 5 wickets & a century next match?

Afridi was the only fast bowler in both teams to take two wickets in the first Test on a batsman-friendly pitch in Rawalpindi. He dismissed Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchell Starc, batting for 90. The pitch has been the centre of criticism for many fans as well as cricketers.

Meanwhile, Jadeja played a key role in registering a resounding win over Sri Lanka in Mohali. In the first Test against Sri Lanka, Jadeja scored an unbeaten 175 while playing the best innings of his career, while also taking nine wickets in the match. Ravindra Jadeja has risen to the top of the all-rounder’s Test rankings thanks to this stellar performance.
