With strict regulations typically enforced to prevent away fans from accessing home sections, the breach during the Europa League match has highlighted potential gaps in the system.
Stadium authorities are likely to review their protocols to prevent a recurrence of such incidents in the future. This could involve increased scrutiny during ticket sales, more stringent checks at the entrance gates, and improved communication between staff members to ensure that fans are seated in their designated areas.
