Shane Warne was bid goodbye to his family and friends at a private funeral in Melbourne. During this, all three children of Shane Warne, Jackson, Brooke and Summer were present. Also his parents Keith and Brigitte were present.

Apart from these, 80 guests were called for the last goodbye on 20 March. Shane Warne died a few days ago in Thailand. He had gone to Thailand with friends for a holiday. There he died due to a heart attack.

Shane Warne’s close friend Eddie Maguire read his Eulogy. He was also the Master of Ceremony during the Funeral. This ceremony was held in Moorabbin. Guests invited to the funeral were asked to wear St. Kilda scarves.

Along with this, they were also wrapped in Warne’s coffin. This happened because of Warne’s association with St Kilda Football Club. The 1970 Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes hit The Time of My Life is played as Shane Warne’s coffin is carried.

Many big names of the cricket world were present at the funeral of great leg-spinner Shane Warne.

These included former Australia captain Mark Taylor, Allan Border, Michael Clarke, former England captain Michael Vaughan, Australian players Merv Hughes, Glenn McGrath, Mark Waugh and Ian Healy.

Former Australia cricketer Andrew Symonds appeared with Michael Vaughan at Shane Warne’s funeral. Warne will be cremated with state honours on March 30.

Common people will also be able to participate in this. This funeral is to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. During this, MCG’s Great Southern Stand will be named Shane Warne.

Shane Warne, one of the world’s greatest cricketers, died on 4 March. He was 52 years old. His body was brought to Australia by plane from Thailand a week ago. The world mourned the death of Warne.
