Solskjaer is disappointed after the goalless encounter that was short on goalmouth action. Manchester United failed to secure all three points leaving their rivals 10 points clear.

After the match, Solskjaer revealed he is disappointed they have eased the pressure on Manchester City.

“Today we just didn’t have the moment, take (our chances) when we had them,” Solskjaer said.

“A draw is disappointing because we wanted to put pressure on (Manchester) City, but we couldn’t score.”

However, Solskjaer is happy for his players’ focus despite the Super League saga. He claims his boys have the determinations to go higher.

“I’m really happy with the boys’ focus,” Solskjaer said.

“They have such a determination to finish the season strong,” he added.

“So we’re very focused to do well against Roma (in the Europa League) and then we’ve got Liverpool in between, so I’m not worried about that at all.”

Meanwhile, England midfielder Kalvin Phillips claims that Leeds United showed what they are all about after the goalless draw.

“That’s what we’re about, Leeds as a club and as a team, we like to dig in and make it hard for clubs when they come here, especially teams like United. It was a good game. I really enjoyed it, having a battle with the midfielders,” Phillips claimed.

“We do it all game to be fair, we have different people to mark every game, and today I had Bruno [Fernandes]. So I tried my best to keep him quiet and, luckily, he didn’t pop up with a goal so my job was alright,” he continued.

Phillips added: “I think we’re more vulnerable when we don’t pick the wide men up and stuff like that. But I think it’s just the way that we play – we’ve always played like that,” he added.
