Southampton Looking to Score Numerous Goals against Burnley
The Saints’ 4-0 loss that was fifth consecutive PL match without a draw (three wins, and two losses), but they have earned 16 points in their last eight matches. Only Liverpool and Everton have better records.
Southampton had very difficult home matches and are the worst home team in the division (with two wins, three draws, and seven losses). Unfortunately, they’ve netted the openong in just 1/4 of their league matches here, and have conceded a goal in 91.67% of the matches.
Burnley, on the other hand, are having a three-game unbeaten PL run after a goalless draw against Arsenal (two wins, and one draw). Burnley and Southampton are having the same amount of points (31) and record. Sean Dyche’s team have been much better in defence however. They have kept nine PL clean sheets this season, while Southampton having five.

Southampton: Danny Ings has been Southampton’s first goalscorer in 12 of the 13 PL matches he’s scored this term. Noteworthy, that Southampton have netted an average of 1.08 goals, but conceded 2.33, at home this PL season.
Burnley: Chris Wood has netted three goals across his last five outings, all of which were as Burnley’s first goalscorer.
