Sri Lanka couldn’t me more disappointed the way they played in the first. Unprepared and without a plan, they took on Australia who have started to climb up to the pinnacle in recent times. In the second innings, Sri Lanka couldn’t even bat for 23 complete overs, they were just over thrown by Aussie spinning duo Nathan Lyon and Micheal Swepson. It didn’t take David Warner more than four balls to score the 10 runs which Sri Lanka made a lead. Credit to the young all rounder Cameron Green who scored 77 crucial runs in the second innings to give Sri Lanka a never achieving lead at first hand.
