Three years ago, Sunrisers Hyderabad had David Warner as its captain. At its peak, SRH was one of the toughest side under the captaincy of Warner.

Now things have changed, Warner is captaining Delhi Capitals and despite his good leadership, the team hasn’t done well at all. SRH, on the other hand, has a similar story, jagged under the yoke of struggle.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Yet To Find Winning Ways

A team that is heavily dependent on top order hitters to do all the great work. Indian batters Rahul Tripathi, Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma have proved inefficient and infective to the cause.

Saree Brooklyn superstar and talented battle but he cannot will you every match. Being at the hell of all demand pressurizes Harry Brook which makes the case even tougher for SRH.

One more thing to notice, SRH has no all rounder who are performing well in the season. Marco Jansen, of course, has done well but we haven’t seen Washington Sundar playing at his best and his role is so important in the team.

Bhubaneswar Kumar is leading the bowling attack on a good note getting full support from Marco Johnson. We haven’t seen the best of T. Natarajan yet but he could be handy in this match.

Last time when Umran Malik bowled against Delhi Capital he considered 52 runs in his 4 overs. Clearly his raw place hasn’t produced a match winning performance yet for the team.

Delhi Capitals Trying To Build On Performance

Talking about Delhi capitals that did won the last match against Kolkata night riders, they wouldn’t consider it and highly confident win. Having lost 5 of 6 played matches now they want to build the momentum.

The captain David Warner is the only player in the entire team to have 200 runs in this tournament. The previous match the DC made a few bowling changes and really well worked out for them.

Bringing Ishant Sharma was a great move because he brought experience and Anrich Nortje as usual a phenomenal fast bowler and most importantly Kuldeep Yadav found his grooves which was very needed for the team.

Mitchell Marsh is yet to play a match winning knock. DC’s big talent Prithvi Shaw has completely failed despite giving chances, so DC can go up with Phil Salt as an opener. Also, they can add another middle order batsman for flexibility in the squad.

Last time when David Warner bat it against his previous team, he scored 92 of 58 balls and Delhi won that match easily. Not entirely high on confidence but a lot of positivity for DC going in this match.

What Does Stats Say and Pitch Report?

When it come to head to head encounters Hyderabad lead Delhi capitals 11-10. Capitals have defeated Sunrisers 3 times last 5 matches including a win in the super over in the IPL eliminator of 2019.

So far only 2 half centuries and one century has come from SRH batters, it tells us where the stand in their batting territory. Manish Pandey Manish Pandey averages only 5 against Bhubaneswar while Rahul Tripathi hasin strike rate of 242 against spinner Kuldeep Yadav.

This year the pitch of Hyderabad has definitely helped batters. Mumbai Indians scored 192 against Hyderabad in the previous match played at this venue, it proved to be sufficient score to defence but the match got close in the last 4 overs.
