With 79 runs in the match, Suzie Bates has become the sixth player to score 1,000 runs in the Women’s World Cup. She achieved this feat in 22 matches played in the World Cup. So far in the ODI World Cup, she has scored 1006 runs in 21 innings at an average of 62.87. During this, She has also scored 3 centuries and 5 fifties.

This is New Zealand’s first win in this tournament. In the first match, the team had to face defeat by 3 wickets against West Indies. The team is currently in the third position in the points table with 2 points.
