Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh 1:0 in the two-match Test series. The first match of the series ended in a draw. Sri Lankan legend Angelo Mathews was the man of the series of the series, who played a brilliant innings of 199 runs in the first match and scored 145 not out in the second match.

Good innings by both teams secured a draw in the first test match of Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh. Not a typical pitch as bowlers found it hard to penetrate and partnerships were always on cards. Credit to Niroshan Dickwella and Dinesh Chandimal for putting up an aggressive resistance. Bangladesh wouldn’t mind the draw as
