TATA IPL 2022: Big Updates regarding CSK’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar| Know about his availability

Fast bowler Deepak Chahar, who has played a key role in the successes of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the last few years, is unfit.

Because of this, he will not be able to be a part of CSK in the initial matches of IPL. Now a big update has come about his fitness.

Chahar’s thigh muscles are strained
It is being told that Deepak Chahar will continue to undergo treatment at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Until approval from the Cricket Board of India (BCCI) and due to this he will not be able to play in the initial matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chahar got injured during the third and final T20 match between India and West Indies in Kolkata last month. There was a strain in his thigh muscles.

Chahar was bought by Chennai for 14 crores
Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan said that Chahar is yet to get fitness approval from BCCI.

When asked about Chahar’s progress, Viswanathan told PTI, “He will remain in the NCA till he gets the fitness clearance from the BCCI.” Chahar was bought by Chennai for Rs 14 crore in the auction held in Bengaluru last month.

Moeen Ali will not be able to play the first match

At the same time, another all-rounder of the team, Moeen Ali, will also not be able to join CSK in the first match.

Moeen Ali has not yet received an Indian visa for this T20 tournament starting in Mumbai on 26 March.

In this regard, Viswanathan said, ‘It is certain that Moeen Ali will not be able to play in the first match. They haven’t got the visa yet.

We and the BCCI (Cricket Board of India) are making efforts for this. Hopefully, the matter will be resolved in a day or two.
