TATA IPL 2022: With just weeks left for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 to begin, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RBC) are yet to announce their captain of the season. However, if sources are to be believed, senior batsman Faf du Plessis is at the forefront of leading the team.
Notably, Virat Kohli had stepped down from the captaincy of RCB at the end of IPL 2021 and since then there has been a lot of discussion among cricket buffs as to who will be the next captain of RCB in place of Kohli.
After the mega auction, the names of Faf, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik started doing the rounds.
However, Maxwell’s availability for the season is in doubt due to personal commitments. So there is a possibility of either Faf or Karthik going for the franchise.

Regarding this, an RCB source said, We will announce the name soon. Discussions are going on as we have good options.
