TATA IPL 2022: Most IPL Centuries, Most Half-centuries, Unique Record still this team fail to win IPL in 14 Seasons

Virat Kohli is the Indian to score the most 5 centuries in IPL. Punjab Kings have not won the IPL trophy even once.

Indian Premier League (IPL) has completed 14 seasons so far, but 3 teams Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings have not won the title so far.

Interestingly, two of these teams i.e. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are in the top-2 in terms of scoring the most centuries in the IPL.

RCB has scored a maximum of 14 centuries in IPL. At the same time, Punjab Kings are at number two with 13 centuries.

Talking about scoring a century at the youngest, that record is also recorded in the name of Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the second edition of IPL i.e. IPL 2009, Manish Pandey scored an unbeaten 114 against Deccan Chargers while playing for RCB.

In that match played on 21 May 2009, RCB won by 12 runs. Manish Pandey scored a century in IPL at the age of 19 years 253 days. Manish Pandey is also the first Indian to score a century in IPL.

In the case of scoring the youngest century, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant comes after Manish Pandey. Rishabh Pant scored a century in 20 years 218 days.

Devdutt Padikkal is the third name on the list. When Devdutt Padikkal was 20 years 289 days old, he scored a century while playing for RCB.

Sanju Samson has scored 3 centuries in IPL so far. When he scored his first century in IPL, he was 22 years 151 days old.

He is at number four in the list of youngest century scorers. Quinton de Kock of South Africa is at number five. De Kock has scored one century in IPL so far. When he scored a century, his age was 23 years 122 days.

Unique record of IPL is also registered in the name of Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar of Chennai Super Kings also holds a unique record in IPL. He holds the record for throwing the most dot balls (the ball on which no runs have been scored) in a single match of the tournament.

Deepak Chahar bowled 20 dot balls in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2019.
