Bangladeshi fast bowler Taskin Ahmed can be seen playing for the new franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022).
Taskin is currently playing three ODIs and two Test matches in South Africa, but according to reports, he may debut for the Lucknow Super Giants team in IPL 2022 as a replacement for Mark Wood.

According to a report by Bangladesh website Kaler Kantha, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir met the 26-year-old fast bowler in Dhaka on Sunday evening and proposed an IPL contract to him.
However, Gambhir put a condition in front of Ahmed that he would not take part in the two-Test matches starting on 31 March.
The website quoted Gambhir as saying, “I want Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed in my team for the whole season.
If he agrees to the offer, Taskin will have to leave for India before the next two Tests against South Africa.”
The Bangladeshi pacer has been asked to convey his decision by Monday. Taskin has sought some time to consider the proposal and discuss it with the Bangladesh team management and board.
If Taskin accepts the offer, he could become the only Bangladeshi player to participate in IPL 2022.
