There are 3 such bowlers in this IPL season, who will wreak havoc and get the most wickets. These three lethal bowlers are the biggest contenders for the Purple Cap. Let’s take a look at these 3 deadly bowlers:

IPL 2022 is going to start from today i.e. March 26. The first IPL match will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 26 March.

T20 cricket is often called a batsman’s game, but over the years, bowlers have shown how good bowling is vital for any team to win.  There are 3 such bowlers in this IPL season, who will wreak havoc and get the most wickets. These three lethal bowlers are the biggest contenders for the Purple Cap.  Let’s take a look at these 3 deadly bowlers:

1. Jasprit Bumrah

New ball or old, first over or last over, the answer of India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah does not remain with the batsmen. Jasprit Bumrah has been seen in the dangerous early overs in the IPL, as much as he remains in the death overs.

So far in the IPL, Bumrah has proved to be nothing less than a nightmare for the batsmen in the death overs. In IPL, Bumrah also takes wickets along with stopping runs in the last few overs. He has an economic rate of only 7.50 in death.

2. Rashid Khan

The whole cricket world is watching the life of Afghanistan’s leg-spinner Rashid Khan.  Rashid Khan has become a very dangerous bowler in T20 format today.

Rashid Khan has proved to be a very good bowler from the last few seasons of IPL.  Rashid Khan is a spin bowler and the spin bowler is not seen bowling much in the death overs, but the captain saves some of Rashid Khan’s overs in the death overs, where he has spent only runs from an economy of 7.

In this IPL season, Rashid Khan can create havoc and get the most wickets. Rashid Khan is the biggest contender for the Purple Cap.

3. Nortje

South Africa’s star fast bowler Nortje has made a strong identity in the IPL in just a few years. Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s brilliant innings was seen in the very first match of IPL 2022.

Dhoni scored a half-century in IPL after 28 innings, has been doing quite a lot after joining the team of Delhi Capitals in IPL. The most important thing in Nortje is bowling very dangerous in the death overs.

He has such art of stopping runs in the death overs that he spends only runs in this last over with an economy of 6.87.

In this IPL season, Nortje can create havoc and can get the most wickets. He is the biggest contender for the Purple Cap.
