The situation

LaLiga, as usual every day, has denounced various chants that they label as violent, racist, xenophobic and intolerant in sport. The employer’s informant present at last Sunday’s derby between Atlético and Real Madrid has collected up to 24 acts that they consider to incite violence. Not all of them are from the rojiblanca fans, some originating from the stands in which the white fans were also denounced. The complaint includes all the chants that took place both inside and outside the stadium, in addition to other types of incidents, such as the throwing of objects onto the field of play. Vinicius, a Brazilian striker for Real Madrid, was the protagonist in most of the chants chanted by the Atlético fans. Racist messages (“Vinicius, you’re a monkey, you’re a monkey”) even hateful (“Vinicius, die”) were dedicated to him. LaLiga, too, denounces violent chants by the Real Madrid fans present at the Metropolitano: “Fucking Indian who doesn’t bounce.”
