French player Paul Pogba is preparing to cast his second spell at Old Trafford as his contract reaches its end.
A little about the topic
The Bianconeri are gearing up to re-sign the 29-year-old Red Devils in the summer transfer window and plan to negotiate with his entourage next week. Paul spent four years in Turin after leaving Man Utd on a free transfer in 2012 and is still fondly remembered at the club even after his record €105m transfer back to Old Trafford. And he may well return once again, although Juventus is preparing for competition from PSG for his transfer.
Juve is ready to pull out all the stops to sign his former favorite. The club recently decided to move forward with the move, with plans to make contact with the player’s inner circle next week. It’s a clear sign that the Bianconeri are set on Paul Pogba’s return to Turin as his Juve contract enters its final month.
Who else might be interested in Paul Pogba?
Juventus is aware, however, that they may not be the only party in the hunt for Paul this summer. For this reason, they asked the team of the French footballer to inform them of any other treatment they receive for his services, with particular regard to the movements of Paris Saint-Germain. Ultimately this will all come down to the player’s own preference as he prepares to put an end to his second Man Utd spell after six eventful seasons.
Paul is also keen on Turin and Juventus, but his economic demands, estimated at a net annual salary of €11m and a four-year deal, could be a barrier to his arrival. Juventus are nonetheless hoping that his previous history at the club will prompt him to lower the asking price to seal the reunion.
