Alves still has the support of his friend Bruno

The case involving Dani Alves, who remains in prison on allegations of rape on New Year’s Eve, continues to develop as new details emerge about what happened in the hours following the alleged incident. Mayka Navarro, a journalist and collaborator with Telecinco, shared some Instagram messages exchanged between Bruno, one of the friends of the former Barcelona player, and a cousin of the alleged victim on the television show ‘El programa de Ana Rosa’. In the messages sent the day after the alleged event, Bruno wrote to one of the young women, expressing his desire to establish a brotherly relationship with her and offering his assistance if needed. The cousin of the alleged victim responded warmly, thanking him for his offer and wishing him a Happy New Year.

According to Navarro, the interpretation of these messages is divided among the authorities. Alves‘ defence team claims that the messages are normal and were sent after they were aware of the allegations, possibly to establish a relationship with the young women and identify if they intended to file a complaint. On the other hand, the prosecution sees the messages as suspicious and possibly indicating guilt on Alves’ part. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Alves still has the support of his friend Bruno, who is in charge of his nutrition, and his ex-girlfriend Joana Sanz, who continues to support him. However, the outcome of the case remains uncertain, and it is up to the authorities to determine the truth of what happened on that New Year’s Eve.
