It was reported that Leicester City are ready to sell Youri Tielemans, who has only one year left on his contract.

What did Aiyawatt say about Youri Tielemans?

The Foxes chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha spoke about the Belgian’s future as the player continues to be linked with a move to the Gunners. Youri Tielemans is entering the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium and there is reportedly a willingness among board members to sell to avoid losing him for next to nothing in 2023.

The Gunners identified the Belgian as a target to strengthen their midfield but the north London club took a step back in their pursuit of the Belgian. Srivaddhanaprabha has now moved to silence speculation once and for all, insisting that the Foxes has not yet received any bids for the price asset.

The Chairman of Leicester City, during the launch of an artificial tanker in Thailand funded by King Power, said that – nothing. There were no offers yet. So far there has been nothing concrete or a proposal. The Foxes are also yet to sign a new deal this summer. However, the chairman assured that there would be new additions before the window closes at the end of August.

According to Srivaddhanaprabha, PL football is one of the focal points for King Power Group. They can see that the amplification is quite slow, this is because the market is changing quite quickly. Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha added that they should wait until the end of August. Aiyawatt thinks there is still time.

Who else are the Gunners aiming at?

The Gunners had a tight transfer window with five signatures already in the kittens. They robbed Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus of Man City and also dropped Brazilian player Marquinhos. They were joined by US goalkeeper Matt Turner and Portugal international Fabio Vieira, who completed a £30 million move from Porto.

However, the Gunners recruitment campaign may not be over yet. The Bianconeri’s Arthur Melo is once again closely linked with a move to north London, while Arsenal’s technical director Edu sang the praises of Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta – though recognition of the deal is unlikely this summer.
