Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur is set to play for Trent Rockets in the hundred 2023. She’s the only Second Indian women’s player to feature in The Hundred after Smriti Mandhana who will play for Southern Brave this season.

Harmanpreet Kaur is captaining Mumbai Indians in WPL and has been pretty good with her batting, she has played for Manchester Orginals but this time around, she was drafted in a new team.

Last year in women’s competition, Oval Invincibles won the tournament under leadership of Dan Van Niekerk. Her wife Marizanne Kapp plays for Invincibles too.

Playing for Southern Brave last year, Mandhana scored 211 runs in 8 matches at an average of 30 and strike rate of 151. That’s a big reason why she has been retained by Southern Brave.

Jemimah Rodrigues who played only two matches in her first season for Northern Superchargers went unsold in this year’s auction table. Her previous stint in The Hundred started well but unfortunately she had to miss the tournament due to injury.
