“I am really dreaming of being Arsenal’s head coach, but also eager to be on the basketball field and playing Slam Dunk. That does not actually mean that it all happens ever, but as long as I am alive, I really want to work as a head coach at this club. But it was difficult to do so even before Arsene Wenger left the team,” said the 42-year-old Frenchman.
Thierry Henry defended the dignity of the London Arsenal in 1999-2007. The striker has scored more than 250 goals in the London club’s T-shirt and won seven titles, including two Premier League championships.
Henry returned to the London club in 2012 on a short lease and played in several more matches for the Gunners.
After Completing the Football Career
After completing his football career, Thierry Henry first served as an assistant at the Arsenal age team. Later, he was also an assistant coach at the Belgian national coaching staff.
The French specialist has been coaching Monaco for a while, and since November 2019, he has been the head coach of American Montreal.
As you may know, London Arsenal are currently coached by Mikel Arteta. After 27 rounds in English Premier League, the Gunners have 37 points and occupy the 9th place in the tournament table.
In spite of the fact that the 42-year-old specialist is very keen on coaching Arsenal, Thierry Henry is not sure that his dream will ever come true.
