India vs South Africa: Corona has entered the series between India and South Africa. A star player from South Africa has been found to be COVID positive. This has dealt a big blow to the South African team. The South African team has to play five T20 matches on the Indian tour. The command of the Indian team is in the hands of Rishabh Pant.
This player turned corona positive
South African batsman Aiden Markram was ruled out of the opening T20 International against India here on Thursday after testing positive for COVID-19. Markram was a part of the recently concluded Indian Premier League. South African captain Temba Bavuma revealed at the toss that he was not available for selection in the opening match of the five-match series due to COVID-19 positive test.

Captain Bavuma gave this statement
Aiden Markram, after arriving here with the South African team on June 2 last week, along with the rest of the players came negative in the first round of investigation. Bavuma said during the toss here, ‘Aiden was not available for selection as he has come Covid-19 positive so that (Tristan) Stubbs will come in place of who will make his debut.
Pant becomes captain
In the series against South Africa, many star players of Team India have been rested. These include regular captain Rohit Sharma, superstar batsman Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. Due to the injury of KL Rahul, the command of the Indian team is in the hands of Rishabh Pant. Team India has not won the series against the African team at home till date.
