Returning to action in PL after last year’s cardiac arrest and heart surgery, Christian Eriksen hasn’t lost any of his presents.

What did Frank say about Eriksen?

Brentford would like to continue with the Danish player after the season is over, the Brentford head coach says, admitting it’s no secret that Eriksen is looking to stay in the league with the attacking midfielder. The Danish footballer returned to competitive football in February, signing in January after undergoing heart implant surgery following Euro 2020 and the exit of Inter. Christian Eriksen helped give the Bees a boost by getting them into better shape in just a matter of weeks, and now countryman Frank has admitted he’d like to keep the star, while admitting that any such decision would have to wait.

In his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s clash with Chelsea, Bees boss Thomas Frank said he didn’t think it was some kind of secret that of course they would like to continue. According to Frank, he’s pretty sure Eriksen is enjoying it here. But Thomas is also convinced that nothing will be decided before the end of the season on either side, which is why he thinks he will get a lot of those questions every Friday. Thomas Frank thinks it’s clear that they would like to continue with Christian Eriksen.

A little about Christian Eriksen

Since returning to professional action at the Brentford Stadium, Christian has demonstrated that being forced out of the game has not robbed him of influence or creativity on the court. The Bees won two of their first three games with him in their ranks, while Christian Eriksen helped beat Norwich and Burnley. But it’s his international form that is arguably even more exciting when the attacking midfielder takes his match-fitness to the Denmark national team, scoring goals in both March international games against the Netherlands and Serbia.
