Casillas believes in Ramos and Real Madrid future
Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has expressed his support for Sergio Ramos to remain at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The current Real Madrid captain’s contract comes to an end on June 30 and talks have been at an impasse for some time now.
Iker said Let’s hope that for the good of football the two can come to an agreement to reach a point of harmony, so that everyone can be happy. Casillas also highlighted that Ramos is an “extremely valuable” player and “one of the best in the world,” although he pointed out that “you also have to know the club’s position.” When asked which side would lose out most if an agreement was not reached, Casillas admitted that he would be amongst the losers.
