1. Liverpool 5 : 5 Arsenal
The most effective was their 2019 clash. In the 70th minute, Arsenal were minutes before the 4-5 win, But Origi equalized at the 94th minute and saved Liverpool. After a 5-5 draw, Liverpool beat Arsenal in the penalty shoot-out and advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
2. Norwich 4 : 5 Liverpool
Liverpool’s clash against Norwich in 2016 was one of the most spectacular matches in football history.
Roberto Firmino scored the opener, after which Norwich netted three unanswered goals and were winning the match until the 54th minute. But Liverpool scored two goals in the next eight minutes and equalized the scoring. In the 75th minute, Liverpool advanced with James Milner’s goal; But Sebastien Bassong equalized again on 92nd min, and everyone thought the match would finish with a 4-4 draw though Adam Lallana scored one more goal at 95th minute and gained a 4-5 win.
3. Liverpool 4 : 3 Manchester City
Manchester City looked unstoppable in the 2017-18 season. The Citizens have won 20 matches in the first 22 rounds and completed two draws. So, Everyone were talking about their undefeated season.
On the other hand, Liverpool was playing their first match at Anfield since the departure of Philippe Coutinho, and everyone was expecting that they would be weakened.
