Transfer Rumors Involving Kane, Martinez, Wijnaldum and Tielemans
The England captain, Harry Kane might sign a new contract deal with Tottenham. This s if a release clause is inserted into the deal. Previously, the 28year-old believed he had a gentleman’s agreement with chairman Daniel Levy to leave Spurs this summer with City tried to sign him.
On to Martinez, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid had bids of at least 90m euros for the 24-year-old Argentina striker who was rejected by Inter Milan in the summer with Arsenal also being knocked back after making a lower offer.
Again, Tottenham are expected to be among suitors keen to sign Cagliari’s 25-year-old midfielder Nahitan Nandez who was also wanted by Inter Milan, Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina when the transfer window re-opens in January. The Serie A side are said to be open to sell the Uruguayan in the new year.
Meanwhile, midfielder Your Tielemans says he is “keeping his options open” as he continues to negotiate a new deal with Leicester City. The 24-year-old Belgium has been linked with Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Netherlands midfielder, Wijnaldum has said he “expressed the desire to stay” at Liverpool. But, eventually, he left on a free transfer to Paris Saint Germain after being made to feel unwanted by the Reds.
Chelsea’s chances of signing Sevilla’s 22-year-old centre-back Jules Kounde are said to depend on if the 28-year-old Germany defender Antonio Rudiger’s contract situation with the European Champions is resolved.
