Malacia close to transition to Man Utd

The Dutch left-back closes in on a £13m transfer to Man Utd, with the youngster revealing he predicted such a move would be part of his future when he faces Manchester United in a junior football tournament.

Tyrell Malacia has come a long way since then, with a reputation established as one of the most promising talents in Dutch football, and the move up to the PL stage is about to be made. The 22-year-old feels ready for this challenge, never doubting that one day he will walk the path to Old Trafford – with Erik ten Hag set to make that dream come true.

What did Tyrell Malacia say?

The Dutch international has undergone a medical with Man Utd and is ready to see the related formalities of moving to England. Tyrell Malacia discussed that deal with reporters, saying that a move to Manchester United was part of his destiny, that with the Feyenoord youth team they played a youth tournament at Man Utd years ago – and he was so impressed with everything. Malacia told himself that he would return here one day. It has now come true and that is, of course, wonderful.

According to Tyrell, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world, with a fantastic stadium and great history – and of course a lot of top players who have played here. Malacia is proud but also very grateful for this opportunity. The Dutchman understands that work at an even higher level is just beginning now.

Getting better every day and showing at this level that they can measure up. Tyrell Malacia says he has worked hard throughout his career and this is a reward for that, for him and for all the people who have always supported him and believed in him.
