Group F – no one competes

This is the toughest group in Euro 2020. Keep in mind that there are three teams that can win the Euro 2020. Germany, Portugal and France play together in these groups. There is also Hungary and they even played their first game of the Euro 2020 at home stadium. The government of the country allowed 100% of the stadium capacity, so the fans attended the match. It was a tough game for Portugal. Overall, Portugal did everything to score a goal in the end. It was obvious that Hungary had help from the fans. Hungary even opened the score-line but the referee said that it was an offline moment. Portugal took the ball in the end and scored three goals. Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals and he became the top-scorer of the tournament. Portugal fans have big hopes in Ronaldo’s experience and leadership.

Another game was between Germany and France. Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe did everything to win the opening game of the group. Keep in mind that Germany was also tough in the attacking line. Raphael Varane and his defender teammates worked harder than expected. France scored a goal thanks to Matt Hummels. He scored an own goal and gave France a chance to win the game.

Italy and Netherlands

Experts say that Italy and the Netherlands have shown true potential. For instance, Italy won the game against Turkey and it was obvious that it would be an easy game for the host. Italian team dominated Turkey fully and won the game with three goals difference. The Netherlands did the same in the first round. It seems that the Netherlands has now shown true potential yet.
