Shocking results in round 2
Round 2 of Euro 2020 was very interesting. We have seen a few intense matches. Especially, we should especially talk about the clash between Portugal and Germany. To be home specific, everyone knew that game would be intense. Portugal and Germany both had chances to qualify to the next round. Portugal had better chances if they would get three points in that match. Unfortunately for Portugal fans, the team could not keep the score-line and conceded four goals after they opened the match.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the score-line in the first minutes of the game. Diego Jota went one-on-one with the Neuer and assisted Cristiano Ronaldo. Portugal believed that they could defeat Germany. Low’s team knew that there won’t be any chances in the future. If they wanted to qualify for the next round, then they had to win the game. Germany has only three points now and a good goals balance.
Intrigue for the third round
Euro 2020 round 3 will be the last accord on the tournament. It will be interesting to see how teams will align in the groups. Portugal, Germany and France are together in the same group. As mentioned above, Germany won the game against Portugal and now they have a chance to qualify. On the other hand, Portugal has three points and France only 4. There is a very little difference between these teams and let’s see which team will be able to qualify. On the other hand, there is an intrigue related to Russian national team. Russians have a chance to qualify but Denmark is not going to give up. Team that played in the ¼ finals of the World Cup 2018, now may not qualify for the next round of Euro 2020.
