Unai Emery claims his side Villarreal is much alive ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League semifinal second leg clash at Emirates stadium.

While speaking after Gatafe’s win, Emery says the Yellow Submarine are fresh and very alive. Villarreal defeated the Gunners 2-1 in their first leg, however, the tie is not finish as Arsenal can still qualify.

“It’s important to have naturalness, you have to try to be fresher, to have a clear idea of what we should do,” Emery said.

“We go with an advantage. We will have moments that can change things and it’s not going to be easy,” he added.

“The team is very alive and with excitement to live it. The key is to live in that process,” he stressed.

Notably, Emery made several changes in the weekend’s tie against Getafe in their bid to make their first Europa finals. The former Arsenal coach makes a big deal out of the tie despite the first leg results. He is going for it.

“The idea was to win and that was key. If you don’t win, you lose the feeling that this work has been good,” Emery explained.

“We have given an opportunity to the non-regulars to reinforce the bench, and we have achieved the win,” the former PSG coach continued.

Besides the coming Europa tie, Emery reveals he is happy and satisfied with a done job. He claims resting players and managing to win makes him happy.

“I’m satisfied to win, for the people that came off the bench and to be able to rest some of the players. We rested Pedraza, Albiol and those things make me happy,” Unia reveals.

The winner between Villarreal and Arsenal will probably face Manchester United who claimed a 6-2 win against As Roma. Although United are yet to qualify, they boast a 6-2 crucial first-leg advantage.
