Virat Kohli has now won 10 man of the series awards alongside 30 man of the match awards. Numbers do speak of his pro game and it certainly sets him apart from every other player.
During post match conference, when Murali Karthik asked him about winning this much player of the match and player of the series awards, Virat Kohli said: For me it’s just a byproduct of the the intent I have, the, the mindset that I play with. Mindset has always to help the team as much as I can and and bat for as long as possible. Put the team in strong positions and eventually when you play with the situation of the game and the face of the game, the demands of the game basically then you end up end up making the difference.
“And that’s obviously been the case with me that I have always played for the right reasons. Help the team as much as possible and then eventually that’s ended up being the difference a lot of the times and.”

Virat Kohli also spoke about his long break and how it helped him to evolve after the struggle he was subjected to.
“I took a long break, I came back, I’ve been feeling very good about my game. So I dont have that desperation anymore to, you know, get to a milestone. For me it’s just about enjoying my batting and making sure as I said, help the team as much as I can.
And I’m just happy that I am able to do that and continue being in the space where I am relaxed with how I am playing and that for me is the most important thing and today as well I was just happy to be out there, to be batting, to be batting for as long as possible and in that space I end up playing my best cricket.
That’s been the case in the past when I got a bit desperate. Then things are running away from me as I mentioned last time as well. So I am in a nice space right now and I I just want to continue with with the same, just be organic everyday. However I feel I just follow that feeling and I don’t fight anything,” Virat Kohli concluded.
