“I especially look up to Virat Kohli. I knew he got some rest at the end of the IPL. But he looks at me as if he needs more rest. Looks like he needs to stay away from cricket for three months. Go and sit on a beach,” Vaughan told Cricbuzz.
“Go and do what you can with your family because of a career spanning 20 years, which is probably going to get him because he’s such a good player. Is taking a three-month break going to affect him? No. Will it help him? Yes,” he said.

Vaughan also questioned the India-England series schedule, saying it is impossible for players to play in all three formats in a span of a few days.
“I just saw the India and England schedule. This is ridiculous. We will see more of this in the next few years. It is absolutely impossible that players from all formats will be able to play in all three formats,” he said.
“The management of all these teams are going to have to be very clever in terms of giving them a breather.”
