India’s great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 49th birthday on 24 April and on this special day all his teammates have shared a special message for him.

Sachin Tendulkar has been a major reason behind India’s success in Cricket. And the contribution he made in this field cannot be expressed in words.

He made and broke many records in his career and some of his records remain unbroken till date.

Sachin has been the support system for the Mumbai Indians team in the IPL. After announcing his retirement from the game. He has been associated with MI and continues to mentor the team.

On his birthday, he is receiving wishes from all over the world. But in the most unique way, his former partner Virender Sehwag has wished him. He shared a funny video congratulating Tendulkar and shared an unsung anecdote between the two from their days of playing the game.

Actually Sehwag has posted a video on social media, in which he is seen sitting with a plate full of bananas. He says in the video that Sachin always used to feed him bananas and silence him in the dressing room.

Tendulkar, also known by many as the God of Cricket, was born on 24 April 1973 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

He made his international debut at the age of 16 and played several record-breaking innings during a career spanning more than two decades. He has also played a record six World Cups, in which he was part of the winning team in 2011.

Sachin Tendulkar ended his successful career as the highest run-scorer in international cricket with a total of 34,357 runs in all formats.

He holds the record for most runs in the ODI format, with 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries. He also holds the record for most centuries in Test and ODI formats.
