In the fight to keep the English championship, Liverpool received a big blow – Jurgen Klopp’s team lost at home to relegation candidate Brighton 0: 1. The leader is Manchester City with 47 points, who have increased their impressive winning streak with a 2-0 victory over Burnley and now have won 13 official matches in a row (9 in the Premier League). The last time a 13-match winning streak from a Premier League team was at Arsenal London in 2002.
