Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have been competing with each other for a long time in the transfer of Kalidou Koulibaly. There have been recent reports that the Senegalese will continue his career in England, although negotiations have been delayed.

According to The Telegraph, the Parisian team has been stepped forward in transfer, and the move of Kalidou to Ligue 1 is becoming more and more real. The amount that the French team is going to pay to the 29-year-old defender of PSG is also mentioned – 75 million pounds.

Kalidou is the first and main target of Paris Saint-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel during the current transfer window. The team sent Thiago Silva to Chelsea as a free agent and need a new central defender. So, Koulibaly is one of the best options.

Napoli are asking 70 million for the player. Manchester City offered the Italian club 53 million and wanted to buy Koulibaly at a relatively low price. Although, the Napoli club blocked the offer. That is why the transfer of City was delayed.

The Italian club will sell Kalidou Koulibaly only at the price they are asking for. Otherwise, the Senegalese will stay in Naples.
