Manchester United is allegedly interested in signing Brentford playmaker Christian Eriksen in a sensational transfer.

Since joining the Bees in the January transfer window, the 30-year-old Christian Eriksen has been in outstanding form.

Following his heart episode during the European Championship last year, it has resulted in his fairytale return to the Danish international squad.

Reports have now stated that the Red Devils have expressed interest in signing Eriksen this summer.

The club announced this week that Ajax manager Erik ten Hag will be their permanent manager at the conclusion of the season, which has been a long time coming.

This summer, there is expected to be a significant change in personnel, with Ten Hag set to bring in some new faces to strengthen a struggling United club.

Eriksen is thought to be on his transfer wish list, and he believes he would be the ideal signing to kickstart his revolution at the Premier League giants.

Ten Hag got a close look at Eriksen when the player spent time practicing with his Ajax team at the start of the year as he recovered from his cardiac attack.

The former Tottenham midfielder’s quality is said to have wowed United’s next manager, as well as the rest of the squad.

Since his return to the Premier League, he has made seven appearances, helping Brentford climb out of the relegation zone to 11th place, 12 points clear of the bottom three.

United aren’t the only team interested in signing Eriksen; Antonio Conte is apparently keen on bringing him back to Tottenham.

During his stint as Inter Milan’s manager, the Italian collaborated with Eriksen.

Eriksen only signed a short-term contract with Brentford, so if he decides to leave in the summer, he will be available for free.
