‘I constantly interact with players’
Saha has played 40 test matches for India. The 37-year-old wicketkeeper was not picked in the squad for the upcoming series against the series. He is not playing in Ranji Trophy either.
Dravid said that he will continue to have such candid talks with the players whether they like it or not. He said, ‘I do this kind of conversation with the players constantly. I don’t even expect that they will always agree with what I say about the players.
It is natural for the player to be disappointed and hurt.
Dravid said, ‘You can have a hard conversation with the players, it does not mean that you keep things down and do not talk.’ Dravid also said that he has a strategy to talk to the players before selecting the playing 11 adopt.
