TielemansTielemans, labeled as wonderkid at his young age, has established himself as one of the key Brendan Rodger’s squad members. He had some rough spells at AS Monaco but at King Power Stadium he has been exceptional.

Despite the Belgium international having difficult years at Monaco he has transformed to be one of the best midfielders in England. The midfielder has revealed he is enjoying himself at King Power Stadium.

The midfielder spoke about his career and how he has transformed since joining the foxes from AS Monaco.

“I won’t say Monaco was a failure. It’s true that it wasn’t the best like it is now where the results are following. At Monaco, there was a bit of bad luck too. I was injured, I took more time to be in the team, and then the second season didn’t go as well. We had so many injuries, so we had to play the youngsters a lot, who weren’t ready at that time,” Tielemans said.

“When I arrived at Leicester, it all went quickly and well. The team was running smoothly. We complemented each other. It explains why today, everything is going well and I’m really enjoying myself,” he explained.

I’ve felt really comfortable in the team. They welcomed me with open arms and quickly put me at ease, and you can see it on the pitch,” he added.

Tielemans joined Leicester first on loan and then followed by a £40m transfer and he has justified his worth. The 23-year-old has scored 15 goals in 96 appearances for the club and notably registered 18 assists.

Leicester will host Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals at King Power Stadium. Leicester trailing the Red Devils in the Premier League with the foxes third 56, one point behind second-place United.
