According to rumors, Manchester United asked for 150 Million Euros for Pogba. Florentino Perez was not ready for that amount of money and decided to stay away from Paul’s transfer. Zidane was very keen on Pogba, so he could not believe in the failed transfer. At the same time, Zidane lost two main targets – Van De Beek and Christian Eriksen.
Zidane found new Pogba – Fede Valverde
The French coach was trying hard to find the perfect balance in midfield. Zidane tested many players from pre-season but could not find the right strategy. Just three weeks ago, youngster Valverde returned from injury and joined the main team. As it seems, Zidane found new Pogba as Valverde is playing exactly in the same position.
After the injury, Fede is playing in the starting lineup and has played three matches entirely. Valverde started game against Atletico at Wanda and made a good impression. Valverde’s peak was against Granada when he played like Paul Pogba.
Valverde became the “King of the match” against Granada, and now journalists think that Fede is the most favorite player of Zizou from now on.
Real Madrid has a bright future
Los Blancos fans were disappointed when officials could not make big transfers for the last few years. Florentino Perez focused on signing not current but future stars. Los Blancos scouts signed lots of quality youngsters that could change the future of the club.
First of all, Los Merengues signed goalkeeper of future – Andriy Lunin. Ukrainian player is just 20 years old and could be a game-changer for Real Madrid. Secondly, the club’s defense is already very young and bright. Hakim is loaned to Dortmund and youngster gets needed playing minutes in Germany. Militao and Mendy (two summer signings) are very young, and they are already playing for Real Madrid.
Zidane also focused on the attack line, and that’s why Perez signed Rodrygo, Jovic, Vinicius, Valverde, Brahim Diaz, and Kubo. Jovic is the oldest player from a new generation – forward is just 21 years old. Zidane tested most of those youngsters, and they have already shown signs of progress.
