The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez said that whites don’t want new players this season. Financially, ‘covid season’ was very tough for every club based in the EU. Still, Real Madrid managed to finish the season with the profit but on the other hand, the club could not buy any players.

The Real Madrid managerial team believes that curren squad has the power to win La Liga again. Zidane won his second La Liga trophy last season but it was a very close call as Lionel Messi’s Barcelona was on the edge of winning La Liga too.

Zidane has two perfect line-ups

Spanish newspaper’s, Marca’s journalists believe that Zidane has a big dilemma right now. The whites have a big bench and lots of quality players. Right now Zidane is testing Rodrygo’s and Vinicius’ roles in different positions. Odeegard returned from Real Sociedad and it will be a huge boost for Madrid’s midfield. Zidane believes that Odegaard and Valverde have to take over the midfield in the new season. At the same time we should not forget about Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Two world class midfielders are still in the age of dominating Europe but Zidane wants to have a big rotation every week.

Zidane has a chance to play either young squad or experienced squad. Luka and Toni still want a spot in the starting line-up while Martin and Fede are not going to give up. The only spot that has not changed since last season is Casemiro’s position. He is the only untouchable player and it could be a big headache for the French coach. Brazilian midfielder’s injury could lead to serious problems in midfield that’s why Zizou wants to buy French player Eduardo Camavinga.

Real Madrid won the friendly match against Getafe yesterday. The match was played behind closed doors as Zidane did not want to see journalists on the match. According to Marca’s journalists, Zidane used two different line-ups in each half. Los Blancos scored 6 goals and Courtois saved all the shots from opponents.
