Former Indian team captain Virat Kohli is considered one of the best batsmen of the modern era. He can easily make it to any playing XI. But, surprisingly, Iceland Cricket has quite distinct view on all time best 11 of Indian cricket team.

The board has excluded Virat Kohli from the playing XI in India’s All Time Test XI. As a result, Indian fans started trolling Iceland cricket fiercely. Also, Indian fans are extremely explicit about these matters and they never hold back.

Iceland Cricket often makes funny comments on cricket-related topics on social media. But after what they posted on Indian cricket on 13 April, the fans got enraged. Iceland Cricket picked India’s all-time Test XI team and did not include Virat Kohli. Rather, Kohli was made the 12th player. Along with this, the board has handed over the captaincy of this team to Rahul Dravid, with Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Harbhajan Singh Takes Jibe At Dhoni, said: did the rest 10 go to drink lassi?

The board tweeted, ‘We are starting our best series of all time. Today’s Indian Test team is – Gavaskar, Sehwag, Dravid (Captain), Tendulkar, Hazare, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Wicketkeeper), Kapil Dev, Ashwin, Kumble, Srinath, Bumrah, 12th player – Virat Kohli, 13th player – Chandrasekhar, 14th player – Jadeja, 15th player – Zaheer Khan, 16th player – Laxman, 17th player – Harbhajan Singh.’

Talking about Kohli’s records in Test cricket, this right-handed batsman has played 101 Test matches and scored 8043 runs in it. His batting average is 49.95. Virat Kohli has scored 27 centuries and 28 half-centuries. However, he has been off the genuine touch he used to have for the last couple of years.

He is at the sixth position in the list of batsmen who have scored the most runs in Test cricket for India. Still, he has many matches left to play so he is the strong contender to break all those records. In such a situation, many people are surprised that after all he has been made the 12th player.

The 33-year-old Virat Kohli is currently playing the 15th season of the Indian Premier League. He has been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore from the beginning. On 12 April, the team had to face defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings. Kohli was dismissed in that match after scoring just one run in three balls.
